The Board meets monthly, and its Board of Directors is elected by the Agency itself. 

The City Council nominates one member. Each member may serve no more than four consecutive terms.

Block Grants Advisory Committee Members are required to file Statements of Economic Interests pursuant to the City of Santa Maria's Conflict of Interest Code with full disclosure of personal assets, income, and business interests. All Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700) are required to be filed online upon assuming and leaving office, and annually. All filings are available for public inspection upon request.  The City Clerk's Office will set up the account and be the point of contact.  For additional information, contact the Clerk's Office via email at cityclerk@cityofsantamaria.org.

AB 1234 Ethics Training (every 2 years) - All members of City of Santa Maria Boards/Commissions/Committees and Elected Officials are required to complete a training for AB 1234 Ethics Training every two (2) years. This training may be accomplished online through a training portal provided by the Human Resources and Clerk's Office staff.  

Anti-Harassment Training (every 2 years) - All members of City of Santa Maria Boards/Commissions/Committees and Elected Officials are required to complete a training for Anti-Harassment Training every two (2) years. This training may be accomplished online through a training portal provided by the Human Resources and Clerk's Office staff.
